Shaye Wiley

An analytical mind combined with a solutions-based approach gives Shaye a unique edge in understanding client needs and solving their challenges.

I want our clients to be in awe of the work we produce, the types of humans we are, and the level of service we provide.

With an education and background in graphic design, Shaye Wiley cut her teeth dreaming up layouts for both print and digital media in the hospitality industry. It was in managing the demands of multiple projects that Shaye found a natural aptitude for leadership and collaboration. Years in her role laid the groundwork for Shaye’s next big move: starting her own agency. Working alongside her coworker-turned-business-partner, Kristen Ritzenhaler, Shaye is now Onyx Haus’s co-founder and creative services director — in other words, its musical conductor who synchronizes the agency’s talents, sets the tempo, and ensures everyone comes together in harmony.

Kristen’s love for numbers, design, and color theory means there’s always a data-backed purpose behind every detail of her designs.

In a world where many agencies overcharge and underdeliver, we are committed to always doing what’s best for our clients.

An early-childhood interest in the arts led Kristen Ritzenhaler to pursue a career in graphic design — first for print, and later for web. In learning about user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), she found her creative calling: creating designs that are not only beautiful, but also clever and intuitive. After leading numerous creative projects as an art director for a local boutique marketing agency, she felt ready to pursue her own path. With coworker-turned-business-partner, Shaye Wiley, by her side, Kristen launched Onyx Haus, where she now serves as co-founder and creative director. With her well-honed design chops and knack for visual problem-solving, Kristen is dedicated to helping businesses, both big and small, thrive with digital experiences that are perfectly tailored to their audiences.
